Dear friends,

Since last two years I am driving car in Qatar without any fine but unfortunately this is the first time I caught 5 times in one month by speed radar on university road. Guys please advise me is there any ways to get discount? and please take care while driving.

Brit: Havent watched avengers but a police captain character by marvel is a great idea...we love our captains and cartoons here in the gulf as rizks captain majid comment shows...

Newexpat: Haha loved the cashback/qmiles comments lol..and sniper cameras you mean, you werent paying attention when you read that article :-)

Jonsnow: Faster than 300kph i think it is to beat most cameras...only legally though...it needs to take two pics to prove you guilty in court..at 300 plus, it still catches you clearly but only once..

That pink color helps too, it blinds the radar.

Those speed radar has a limit, if you drive fast enough it won't be able to catch you

Learn the skill of slowing down near the cameras ..I always do that ..

Hopefully spider cameras won't be installed anytime soon ..

Thankyou mohdata... I knew I wasn't imagining things.

The Captain exists. I wonder if Marvel can include him in the next Avengers film ?

Yup the captain exists...the legend is true...he is like a year round santa who reduces the pain of those who genuinely deserve it and turns away those who dont...

The enforced speed limit is 80 kmph not 100kmph after the golf club roundabout ( if your are traveling towards doha)

the radar is a vehicle mounted and is difficult to notice... reduce your speed to 80 or below once you pass the golf club roundabout.

You broke the law, pay your fines in full like everyone. We are all paying, what makes your case special. You probably got lucky before, because they did not have radar in the area. Now they put it there and it started collecting fines. So it means to say, you have been braking the law before till the radars came. Also, why do you think they started putting radars there, its people like you braking the law and driving like an idiot that attracts the police to start putting radars.
