Word is going around that Skype will be blocked on Sept 17th, any updates from the group?

My source says they are going to have their own solution in the VOIP area, this may be for business use, or something.

Yeah she's fine thanks. Was a bit of a wuss for the first couple of days but seems back to her usual self now.

Yes, it's been officially announced that Skype is ok for domestic use. This is the first I've heard of it being imminently blocked though, and I think I smell thing the same as baldrick, or perhaps my dog just needs to go out in the garden.

I heard from someone who looked into it and they were told that Skype is ok for domestic use.

The problem was that the internet cafes were exploiting the poorest people here by charging them to use skype by the minute the same as if they were using the phone. This is what the crackdown was about.

However, in this city of rumours, who knows?

Smells like bullshit to me!
