Short Tempered Boss

Hi everyone!

I feel that I might not have passed my 6-month probationary period because of my short tempered boss. He always feels irritated to me everytime I asked questions, which I think is just normal for being a secretary.

If I would be terminated in time for the maturity of my probationary period, what benefit would I get since I have specified 2-year contract?

Can the visa be transferred to a new sponsor although I have served 6 months only to my current sponsor??

things used to be like that for me when i was starting to work here in Qatar, I really got a shock since i never experienced such temper since i have started working during and after my college days....anyway, i was always so hesistant to ask, and to make things worse.... i noticed that since i did not feel like talking since i fear that all the time i am making mistakes...i tend to forget some instructions...i used to cry..but then i realized, i have my own shortcomings too... when i started focusing and i spent longer time in the office to make my self understand more...like study the things and make myself familiar with all the transactions....that's the only time i built my confidence and i should say it had really helped me alot until this day....my boss and me sometimes have our differences in outlook but most of the time we work in harmony....i hope this helped....oh, and by the way...always keep a diary or notepad and a pen with you to keep you always on track..and always keep your focus specially when talking to him...listen with your ears and eyes... and keep your fingers busy by noting all that he's saying....good luck!!!

nom is right, you must clear the misunderstanding between you & your boss the soonest of time.

bosses wanted their assistants to be quick & nimble-witted.just a friendly advise, before leaving his office make sure that you understand everything.clarify.always bring wit' you a notepad to evade silly mistakes. =)

Depends what questions you are asking ... if he is not being clear in his instructions then fine but if you are asking cause you dont have the common sense to figure out what he wants then yes I can understand him getting frustrated....

Iam afraid if you are terminated within 6 months.. ur sponsorship couldnt be transferred nor will you have any benifit evn if your contract was infinite.

talk to ur boss politely.. make him understand..clear the misunderstanding!

all the best.
