Hey All ,

I have an appointment with the french embassy next week . but i was wondering if french embassy follow the same rule as italian embassy about the duration of the residence in qatar , because italian embassy insist on 6 month while my residence now is valid for another 4 month and it will take time to renew .

on site they are not mentioning anything about the duration .

anyone had this experience with the french embassy before .

thanks in advance guys .

Usually for any visas, embassies require you to have 6 months Qatar RP and your passport to be also valid for 6 months. You should try to find this out from the embassy before your appointment. If you cannot get in touch with them, better to renew your RP here, and not risk any rejection from them. If you give a good reason to your company, I think they should not have any problem to renew your RP, it can be done same day.

same thing you have to posses 6mos validity of residency here unless you are eligible for visa on arrival..and that doesnt matter. But get your chances since you have mention they didnt ask for the validity of it,no harm done.
