Hi everyone, I'm Gaurav pandit from, Mumbai, India.

I've got a job offer in Qatar.
Can my parents send my prescription medicines by post/courier (Private/Government) to Qatar from India?
If yes, please let me know the whole procedure.

Thank you!

Hi @acchabacha, living in India is more difficult than in Qatar. Look at the population & then comes competition from even early stages of life.

Means when I was in school sucking thumb I was competing with more people than you.

Thank you.

Guarav: Since you are still in the "budding stage" of life, you haven't seen much so far of how the world goes around.

When I write, I do so from experience and especially from ME experience. From your post, it is clearly evident that you are in regular need of medication for some medical problem. Working in the Middle East has its own set of demands which are different from one's own country. I am advising you to judge for yourself if your health condition will allow you to meet these demands. Don't look at the monetary benefits you will get by coming here.

As for writing for QL, I have been doing so for almost a decade now, when you were still in school sucking your thumb and wiping your nose on your shirt sleeve. I don't comment on all posts that appear at QL. If I don't know or cannot be helpful in any way, I just don't post a comment.

Hi @acchabaccha.

Are you a permanent employee of Qatar living website for answering all the questions.

Also, don't post your own opinions, read the question carefully & answer if you have some knowledge regarding that question.

Gaurav: If your need is for some medicines which are required to be sent to you regularly from India, then I suggest you stay back in your country. It appears that possibly the condition of your health will not allow you bear the demands of the job and the ways things move here in Qatar. They are far different from the coziness of your home- life in your country. At times they are very demanding.

As for your query, there is a post that has appeared at QL just some minutes back which may answer your question.
