Does anyone know (please give me some advice) from where I get 2nd Hand home appliances or cheap around Doha's Shopping Markets. I want to buy some home appliances for my wife who is on visit visa.
Buddy check in Souq Haraj in Najma area and Surrounding ! You will have many shops selling 2nd Hand household appliances.
One more option is to check in QL Classifieds as someone already mentioned. people who are going would be leaving Qatar, will sell the appliances and that too at a cheaper price.
Best is to buy from direct sellers and you will several of them at QL. The middle men such as second-hand appliance shops are just for money. Buying from direct sellers allows you to also check the appliance at their residence before purchase and they even tell you the reason for them selling it out.
WILD TURKEY, every individual has his or her economical limit and then they will act as per there budget, its not good that u impose ur mentality on others to follow
and on other hand what is wrong with second hand items, as example we have many items in home which get older but we still get benefits from that.
There is a second hand furniture and appliance shop on C ring road across the road from La Cigale. I got most of my appliances from there when I moved to Doha.
For my friends .... please answer only on my query ... don't go so personal .... some of old folks are really very unlogic for their comments.... simply waste of time guys ...
Yes, Be practical, our life is a journey ............ we should live today to think about tomorrow ........ you are on the right track, live a simple life by limiting the spending on such things which you will be using for a few months. It will be a good idea to move in with a kind senior guy who's family is away, use his kitchen / rooms / etc & pay him say 500 Rials as a thanks .......... when the lady comes back move to another home with similar situation ........... you will have much money for your wife's shopping ......... Good luck & joys ...............
