Search Only PDF Files in Google.
Ever wondered how a pdf search engine can find hundreds of thousands pdf files within few milliseconds? Well the technology is pretty simple. Most of the pdf search engines using Google, Yahoo, Bing or another good third party search engine to find out the pdf files. But how they are employing giant search engines to harvest the files? Well the answer is they are using footprints. Foot prints? Are you talking about something that can be used inside Google search bar? Yes. Let’s do it yourself. Let’s say you want to collect some pdf file on Doha. So browse Google.com. Now inside the search bar write this footprint…
Doha filetype:pdf
Click on Search button. That’s it!
Now Google will find .pdf files that it assume associated with Doha. You can use any file format with this footprint to find specific types of files. Lets say you want to search .docx files then write Doha filetype:docx. Here are some more examples…
- Doha filetype:docx (To find MS Word files on Doha)
- Doha filetype:xlsx (To find MS Excel files on Doha)
- Doha filetype:jpg (To find image files on Doha)
As usual if you like my posts encourage me by posting a comment. You can ask me any question either through the comment section or you can directly email me. I would be pleased to assist you as long as the issue is associated with computer technology. That’s all for today. Take care and bye bye… :)
