hmmm..

all u need to do is...safe to travel certificate from a Doctor. this needs to be produced to airline staff (at airport) for verification.

my wife travelled at 7th month...no issues.

FYI - safe to travel certificate will include the no' of weeks of pregnancy.

Yes, it's indeed a very weird question and "possibly" there is more reasons for the worry than just the appearance of pregnancy.

As a commoner, I can know of sure if a woman is pregnant after her 6th month onwards just from her physical appearance with my eyes doing the scanning job. As for scanners at the airports, they do not look for shapes of the human anatomy, male or female. I guess that part is done visually by the trained and vigilant staff present. The scanners scan for metallic objects that may be hidden on the body which could be a threat to the aircraft, the crew and the passengers.

Hi,

Very weird question. I don't think it's the airport scanner you need to worry about. The flight booking team are trained to be VERY observant and could stop you from travelling. Why take the risk?. All you need is a doctor's certificate.

At the end of the day it's for safety reasons for yourself and the baby.
