Right to Choosing workshop for Repairs
Does any one know about the car owner's right to choose the workshop for repairs. As far as I understand we can choose agency workshop only if the Car's model is 1 year or less. In all other cases Insurance company can assign any other workshop for repairs. What are the governing rules in this matter in Qatar.
Recently my car had an accident, since the accident was due to other driver's mistake, I have been given with papers for repairs. But the insurance company is assigning me a workshop, which seems to be not very popular.
So I would like to know what are the rules in Qatar about this, does any one know about it??

Any good garriage to suggest in respect of workmanship and quality etc... my car is Nissan Altima and requires
body works on both left side doors, may require to replace one door
I've been in the same situation, just got my car last night. i was the one who choose which garage i want. go to the Insurance Company, tell them to check your car then have an estimate to how much they'll give if you will take cash for you to send it through your desired garage. Dont argue about the garage, just ask for cash... it will better quicken the process. this is my opinion base from my experience. good day to all.
