Resident permit query

Hi everyone,

i have a query... i m planning to get my wife and 7 year old daughter to Qatar under my sponsorship. I am working here but i dont wish to continue working with the same employer after the end of contract. My query is since my wife and daughter are under my sponsorship, if i wish to change job (not sure if my current employer would give NOC). If they do not give NOC i will have to get my RP cancelled , but since my daughter’s schooling for that academic year would be in middle,could my wife and daughter stay in qatar and i exit and come back on new visa. Any advise would be highly appreciated... regards

Only after the successful cancellation of your Dependent RP Visas, your Qatar ID can be cancelled.

So better stay on to that job and change accordingly by which your daughter schooling is not affected.

No, they cannot stay. Once your RP gets cancelled, the RP of your wife and daughter gets cancelled automatically. They must leave Qatar either before your exit or along with you.
