Reason for a divorce

My name is Ayesha Syed Rafiuddin. I urgently need a divorce from my husband. I am living in constant fear for my life. He has been threatening to kill me, and I believe he is capable of following through with these threats. My mental and emotional health have deteriorated due to his abusive behaviour. Many reasons from both sides

1. Too much lack of respect

2. Inteference from both families

3. Spreading the secrets

There could be hundred reasons and if all these reasons are gathered and conssidered as building blocks then it will form a building which has the name:

"No Respect At All"

And vice versa - some men mentally torture women and she needs a change, so divorces him.

I don't think it is chauvanism. However, it does sound petty and inane.

Having said that, divorce is so easy nowadays that one does not need a real reason...

You are right. Ladies should take great care to be nice to their husbands and not get angry at them for any reason..
