To each his own... I go to Doha Vets because they are associated with QAWS and I like their pet foods and their personnel. I had my kitty spayed there and she did well, al hamdulillah.
There is another post on this site from a poster who said she brought her terrier to Doha Vets to be neutered and the dog died 2 days after returning home. (I am sorry for what happened to your poor Gizmo) The events sound strange, for one the doctor said they would, and in fact did remove 20 of the dogs teeth while performing the neutering procedure. This sounds alarming enough that I will not be taking my animals there.
Poppy is right. Just thought I would let you know that you should be careful with Iams and Eukanuba (the soft, not the dry food), as there was a huge recall on their soft food a little while back. You can check their website for details.

Most supermarkets stock Pedigree puppy food, canned & dry. Mega mart also stock Purina Puppy.
Qatar Veterinary Centre (formerly Animal Care Centre) is also a good vet that lots of us use. They have just started to stock Royal Canin, including the Puppy range.

Agree with everyone's assessment of Qatar Veterinary Center. Here's their website - www.qatarvet.name.qa
is one of the best around. As for food, you could try Shoprite and Megamart. They have a good range.
