Profession change

Hi all,

In my Qatar ID my Job description is mentioned as “Technician”. I was about to start the process of changing my profession to “Computer Programmer”, so that I can apply RP for my wife.

Now I got an offer in a company. They asked me to do the profession change first before doing the sponsor change.

One of the document requires to do the profession change is a copy of my old Labor contact with my old title as “Technician” and a new labor contract with the new title as “Computer programmer”

The PRO from my old company says that, if he give me the new labor contract then he cannot give me NOC for 1 year as per Qatar Labor law. Is that true? Kindly let me know. DO I have any way to change my profession and my sponsor?
