Portable hard drive

My WD portable drive is being detected by my laptop at all, and asks me to format it. I do not want to loose the data on it hence not formatting it.

Any idea where /who does data recovery ?

Yes, it can be recovered... get it done with a Good IT guy. same thing happened to me 2 years ago and i recovered it.

download and install data recovery software then run the program and wait...
