Police clearance certificate

Dear members,
I have got a job offer from a semi government company. They asked me to get police clearance certificate from CID. I have applied with NOC from previous employer and other documents as provided by new employer. But it's 5 th week and still status of the certificate is under process in metrash 2 . If I called coustomer care they don't have any idea and they asked me to visit CID office . And I went there they asked me to wait till you get next message but now my id going to expiry .
Please help me what to do in this situation.
Dear thanks to you all for your comments I got my police clearance certificate approved but my I’d expired and ex sponsor agreed to renew my I’d for time being I wish I could submit my paper in emigration threw HR before Eid and I get my QID .

Thank you for your concern I will wait for few more days and renew my I’d for better living
Don't worry about your I'd renewal, you can change even your I'd expired more than two months .

Unfortunately, these kinds of procedures do take time. I recommend you to be patient. If you do not get any news by next week, visit the CID office again. In the meantime explain to your new employer, the situation and I am sure he will be understanding. Once your ID expires you have a grace period of one month, therefore you still have time to sort out the situation. Good luck!
