Dear Sir/Madam, Im C.S.Miskin from sri lanka. Please i need help.. One week ago i came to Qatar.UM SLAL MOHAMED.i got work visa from my company.just now 7 days passed im not satisfy with my job and the people.i want to get resigned.but i dont know how the procedure is. my probation period is three months and i have not signed any agreements yet.if i give resignation with one month notice.can i get the resignation.will they accept my resignation? And will they provide air tickets for returning? or are they gonna charge me? This is my first time in a foreign country.i dont know anything about working in a foreign country.and i dont have any relations here..PLEASE ADVICE ME.PLEASE HELP..

can u tell me pls if resign from this company before signing contracts,n the probation period.. how much they will charge me???

i came here with my own expences. only the visa is provided by the company...

Go to Human Rights and tell your problem,, they will help you,, they are nice to somebody who are in need help.. Taxi knows it.. Don't be afraid just try..

another question i have, what if they say you must pay the visa expenses we have spend on you.. then what should i do??

please kindly tell me..coz i dont have anyone to ask this n my countrys embassy is in doha.25km from here.i dont have a way to go there.im helpless..

Yes you can leave on the short notice period provided the passport and exit permit is obtained from the company. But not sure whether they will pay you for return ticket. May be you can look out for some near or dear ones from your country in Qatar who can help you financially and then you can pay them back in India for sure.

I came to doha for a account assistant job.but now they trying to assigned me supervisior job in a construction site.

And they said will provide rooms n good food.. but after i came here i realized thats all just a magic they shown to me.i got nothimg as i expected n as they said..

Thats why im trying to leave this job..

Give Yourself some time to adjust , As this your first time in foreign country you must be missing your near ones plus you are in totally different culture , Every one goes thru this , Remember your goal , be strong , No one is 100% satisfy with Job , For People you are nice all are nice , Rest as you wish

If they accept your resignation and allow you to leave, they will not provide you with the return ticket.

yes u just need to give 7 days notice and u will be on your way out of the country after, you cant change to another job in qatar
