Hi, I'm confused to chooce between Nissan pathfinder and Ford Explorer. Did anyone can recommend any of them based on real experince with the car and/or service
Did some failry major research into it, Pathfinder came out top, test drove them both. The Nissan is cheaper to run, service and resale values much better.
Having said all that I want to sell mine to buy a Discovery.
Pathfinder every time if you're buying privately. You'll get a far better return when it comes to resale. If your company's paying for it, then there's not really much in it as they're both good cars, but I think the Pathfinder's a bit quicker.
I had a Pathfinder for a while - but test drove the New Explorer before buying it but I prefered the Pathfinder, it was brilliant to drive and extremely cheap to maintain.

Its a great car.
My preference is for Nissan Pathfinder. I did more than 100.000km + trips to desert. No any remarks. Well done car. Very practical and reliable.
It has a better safety rating.....if you care about safety. Plus I think it's cheaper. I like the way the Explorer drives, but that's just me.
