To open a bank account

Hi Friends

Can you advice about the proceedure of opening Saving/current account in a bank. Which is the good bank in Qatar to transfer my salary

@Suraj, Ahli Bank is the Best no minimum balance required if u go for Current Account but documents required as i mentioned earlier,Call this Gentleman at ahli Abu Hamour Branch nice guy will help you (Vijay) 44507514. All the Best.

Hi,

Thank you Jones...I call Doha Bank customer service...They want Company letterhead stating 3000 qr salary, original passport and your ID for opening current account...For savings passport and Id only needed, but 1000 qr minimum balance required....

Certainly not HSB*. The worst bank to start with for a good life in Qatar.

@Suraj ,you better call them for clarification customer care 24/7, 4445 6000,but i guess unless you need credit card while opening new account...all the best.

Go for Ahli Bank, their services are superb and also very efficient as per my experience,you only need your Original Passport,Qatar Id Card and Company (Employment Letter) for verification that's it. Wish you all the best.
