Hi, I am 17 years old and just moved from Edmonton, Canada to Doha last night with the rest of my family. I am wondering what is there to do here? Is it possible to go to the beach during the day and places to go cycling. I'm asking is because I really don't want to spend the rest of my summer playing video games all day lol.

Thanks!

Wait for Villagio to open up, and then go play Hockey there. I suppose that's what Canadians like.

Since you are 17, the best advice I can give you is you should engage in Sports. If you like clubbing, sorry but you have to be 21 here before you can enter. There are few bars though that are not asking for QID like Orion in Ramada Hotel & Belgian Cafe in Intercontinental Hotel. If you like drinking then I know what you feel by now,I came here when I was 19 & it took me 2 years to legally do the things I do for a long time.

Welcome.

Personaly I think that Doha is not suited for someone your age. However, now you are here, make the best of it.

Yes, you can go to the beaxh, although it gets extemely hot during the day.

You can join the local sailing club or learn scuba diving.

Yes, you can cycle, but the drivers here are not used to this and can be dangerous.

There are also sports activities at Aspire.
