Need advice

Hi all.
I came to Qatar on 9th October 2016 on 2 years work visa with one company. My passport was stamped "vaild untill 7th jan 2017". In between i did my medical and all the finger printing. Till now i didn't get my ID yet. My question is if i didn't get my id by 7th jan, what should i do and want are the outcomes of this kind of sutiation. Kindly advise
The onus is on the company to get your RP process completed. If by the end of the period they haven't completed the process, then they are liable to fine.
Therefore it is best to contact your HR and PRO to ask why ....
Also, they can keep the passport during this process (excuse) but cannot after your RP is issued
سلام عليكم
@molten. Bro i am just trying to play safe. What if i get sick and need to see doc, what if in some cases i need to show my id. If my status here is (god forbid) going to be illegal, its gonna be disastrous sutiation for me. Anyways lets wait and see. And ya thanks for the advices.
Cheers
My bro, Nothing to worry, take salary & send it home.ID issuance is the sponsors headache my dear. Leave it. ...
My passport is also with them although that's valid for more than a year. Only that my visa valid till 7th jan 2017. I understand that no employer can take passport, but they said need it for the documentation processes and etc. What i am trying to know is that if by 7th jan i still won't be getting ID, what is the sutiation gonna be and what should i do.
Ps: I'll still contact my HR and PRO
Brit, I was at fault although it is rare .............. ........ To err is human ............
What exactly has his passport got to do with the question he asked ?
1, Your ID must be ready, then you start renew process for your passport .......
2, Even if your ID is not ready you should go to renew your passport.
If by the time still haven't get my id, what would be your suggestion

The first thing to do is to ask your HR or PRO what the situation is and why the delay
