Dear All,

I am really confused on this matter and neeeded some views from you all. I have a 7 month old baby and a 4 yr old son. My son wills tart school from september..Timings 7-12:30. I am being offered a job 7-2. I am not sure if i shud accept or not.

I do not know of what options i have for my kids in such a situation. Any working ladies out there with an idea for me? Anyone gone thru the same situation as this? What were you solutions?

Let me know thnx

Yes, you can get a part time non-live in maid in Doha. Some of them advertise here in QL, you have to negotiate with them privately. Also maid agencies provide maids on hourly basis. Rates probably between QAR20-45 per hour. Most of these part time maids only do the cleaning, no nanny service included. They usually ask to work 4 hours a day.

Please think if you are really in need of money yes take up the job and I agree with Lizy....But if you are financialy ok dont leave your kids to anybody specially the little one....spend some time with them cos no one else will love or care about them as you do...all the best

If u are gonna accept the job either send ur kids for babysitting or get a nanny locally or from abroad to look after em..... bt since ur son's school timing and ur office timing differ i suggest u have a nanny at home for a couple of years, that way she can take care of ur home too.....by d way the salary u are getting shld be worth all this trouble... nannies are quite expensive they charge between 1000-2000 per mnth... I hope the figures are right...
