Renew a Qatari passport?

salam brothers and sisters,

I handed my expired qatari passport into immigration and signed for my renewal but since then i have had no reply, does anyone know the maximum duration it should be completed in.

I speak minimal arabic as i was raised in the U.K but was born in qatar in the 90s. any people working in the MOI or any qataris with good advice please get in touch as i dont know what to do.

I have just been told to wait and wait but theres nothing else for me to know how long or if its being processed.

thanks for your comments and I just want to know does anyone on here and I don't want to sound discriminatory here but if anyone on QL is Qatari, can you give me a rough idea of the maximum time it should take. many thanks for your replies

Dear, what was the reason for you to hold the PP until it got expired ? Pls go personally to the office where you gave and check with them for the delay.

Leave alone your minimal arabic, being born in Qatar you enjoy all previlages to hammer the table & question them unlike expats. Nothing to worry, you'll get it.
