the medicine - CLARITIN - for cold
By the-birdie •
there used to be a medicine called CLARITIN which was so suitable for me. ( content : LORATIDINE )
currently it is not available in any pharmacies, and the substitute is really sedative; gives long hours of sleep and dizziness and drowsiness
can anyone suggest a pharmacy where i can get this medicine CLARITIN
for these wonderful suggestions above
this indicates my trust on this QL Group for any advice
:-)
Claritin is not for colds. One of its indications is for allergic rhinitis. Better consult a doctor for an alternative non drowse antihistamine available in Qatar:)
LORRAINE is available,
Clarinase can be a good substitute if Claritin is not available there. Clarinase is non-drowsy.
its a anti-histamine ie-for allergies like hay fever, hives etc.It is also available as Loratidine-D ,with pseudoephedrine, a decongestant, which is where the "cold" medicine part comes in.
Your local pharmacist should be able to recommend other non-drowsy alternatives.
Claritin is an Antihistamine.
it is for ALLERGIC COLD
but it is not availabile in pharmaciess
and the substitute is sedative
Clarytin is for Allergies and not just for colds.
this is an american made allergy med. Only available in USA, and I do believe it is not for colds.
Ask any pharmacist here about what you are requesting by giving them the ingredients, they will look it up and give you the brand they have.
