Medicine

I am moving to Qatar soon and cannot find anywhere on the internet where I can get a list of medication that is not allowed into the country. I have also tried contacting the embassy but they have not replied. I have found a list for the UAE, so I am using this as a guide in the meantime. Can anyone help with where I may be able to get this information from?? Thanks
no problem... just dont bring too much.... I go home frequently to my home country and I always bring my meds with me including prescription meds....
just to be sure... I have medical certificate with me...
I think there's no problem in bringing those medicines
here in Qatar but in limited quantity. those are only over the counter medicines..You can buy it anywhere. I am bringing those med's from my country including antibiotics (you can't buy without prescription).
The pharmaceutical formulary isn't as varied in Qatar as elsewhere. I'll be back to Doha in two weeks, I'll check with the phamacist and PM you. There definitely isn't a large variety of OTC meds or vitamins.

Thanks for replying
I am mainly thinking of taking Nurofen Zavance, Voltaren Rapid 25mg tablets and Logynon ED (the pill)
I also wanted to take some vitamins eg. vitamin c, echinacea and Policosanol ('off the shelf' cholesterol tablets)
I know that codeine isn't allowed so I have made sure that I leave all that at home but am unsure about the above
Thanks
Do you mean over-the-counter meds or prescription? If you carry the physician's prescription you shouldn't have trouble with anything. If you get more specific we can ask at a pharmacy for you.
