MBA application advice - Stanford/Harvard

JohnWD
By JohnWD

Hi all. I'm in the process of applying for an international MBA programme and thought there might be someone on here whose brains I could pick for advice on the schools I'm applying to, the application process, what to expect and anything else that might help me. If there are any Stanford GBS or Harvard Business School graduates who'd be willing to let me buy them a coffee at some point during the next week or two, please post below or get in touch directly. Thanks very much.

John, Stop dreaming, world economy is so so , one should not be very much hopeful in the next 5 years. It would be better to improve your skills, even before that the one who knows how to make your boss HAPPY with your contributions for the work / workers including your boss will get a higher position & high increase every year ........ If you do this home work , you will be more rich & faster ...............

There is one Molten Metal who regularly posts his "advice" at QL but I guess he has not woken up yet.

By the way, you write good English, something I don't get to read very often these days even at Qatar Living.

If you're focusing on Tier1 accredited Universities , then you cannot go wrong.

The other thing to focus on the content of the course and the amount of time required to spend on Campus. Ask yourself why you are doing the MBA and what topics will benefit / interest you (diffrentiation) with a view to your future direction.

Good luck
