London visa for our maid

Hi

we are British family and thinking of visiting UK in March and in July.we want to take our maid with us but she has only been with us since beginning of December 2015.Has anyone been through the visa process for UK for their maid and will it be possible to take her if she hasn't been with us for long enough ?

She's a Filipino.

I have read it somewhere that a maid has to be working for u for a year to be able to get the UK visa.

I don't think British Embassy will object you to bring your housemaid to UK, even she is working in a day only. As long as you are the Employer and you are capable to take a worker into UK, or else it's a human trafficking which is a violation.

There should not be an issue. Contact the British Embassy personaly, talk to the people there. You might have to prepare a letter stating that you will be responsible for all costs and ensuring her return.
