LAND CRUISERS, SUVs and LAND MARK MALL

Every Thursday and Friday nights hundreds of Landcruisers and other SUVs, driven by young men, mostly Qataris, swarm Land Mark mall creating havoc to shoppers. These cars just go aimlessly and endlessly round and round and round and round and ….
Tonight I went to Carrefour pick up some stuff. Knowing that this is one of those crazy nights I decided to wait until eleven, and guess what I found?! Endless line of pumper to pumper cars moving at a snail pace. It took me about ten minutes to get into the parking lot. Infuriated, I decided to walk around the parking area trying to figure out the reason behind this traffic jam, and to my amazement I found out that those drivers just drive to the end of the parking lot, make a U turn and repeat the whole process all over again. After buying the stuff it again took me more than 10 minutes to get out after forcing my car through.
What is what's on earth attracts all these cars? Could it be that someone is giving a brand new, full option 2009 Land cruiser to the driver who covers the longest distance or make the most trips? I don’t know. Could you think of any other reason?

fefee.........cc isnt so bad during the week. Best is in the morning when they are still sleeping or some working. You mostly have it all to urself.

Whatever you vividly imagine, Ardently desire, Sincerely believe and Enthusiastically act upon, Must inevitably come to pass.

hire a taxi to the mall! Seriously I try to avoid any public places on thursday and Friday nights. This week, however, I had company and they really wanted to go to Nando's City center so we hired fox limo to take us to CC. It was nice to get to avoid the frustration of looking for parking. Grabbed a taxi when we left (fox limo cost us 35Qr, karwa wanted to charge us 50!---we refused and bargained him down to 35 also).

Young people cruise on weekend nights. I avoid those places. It's much better that they cruise the malls than create more serious problems.

They also used to be in Al Nasr area, it is their way showing off their latest and most extravagant cars they have...Landmark is the latest place to hunt eye gasper for beautiful cars, i seldom go there at night, in

the morning before lunch it is convenient to go there, but soon the sun down, there they are going round and round narrowing the way...

I saw a Rools Royce drophead Coupe cruising around the Landmark. My thoughts were that here is a guy worth millions, but he doesn't have anything to do :(

as i said, society will evolve out of it.

Remember the fiftees and sixtees in the states, when youngsters used to "cruise" the streets ?

Well this is a similar happening. As society matures, this fad will pass.
