Is it possible? Diploma credentials to an Engineer post?

Hi there.. Just wanted to ask whether it is possible in Qatar to obtain a post of Engineer while the Educational Attainment was of Diploma? I already got an offer and and informed the sponsoring company as well about my case. How they will deal with that? I even successfully passed all the intervies with them. Please, opinion needed.. Thanks a lot.
