Everyone blogs these days, its not a sure way to get a freelance writing career.

You might get killed while crossing the road too, doesn't stop you from doing it though.

You might get killed if you attempt to tell the truth.

First of all, your question is too vague and varied. In fact, you have asked completely irrelevant things. It would would difficult for one person to answer all of them with equal expertise. It takes decades to acquire competence in writing. Only when you are grammatically correct can you think of being able to write effectively. Writing effectively does not necessarily mean writing influentially. Only when you are an influential writer will people take you any seriously. Once they do so, your words would matter. Then occasionally what you say could be a question of life and death. As things stand, however, you can be confident that no one will take your remarks seriously enough to embark on taking your life unless you really blurt out inexcusable blasphemies, obscenities and things of that sort.
