Be careful, hydroponics sometimes uses petroleum based nutrient mixes. Look at aquaponics instead. Its a cross between aquaculture & hydroponics. You have a fish tank. Water goes into grow bed. Grow bed filters water. Water goes back to fish tank. Essentially a mini-ecosystem. Good luck.
