How to find the person who banged my car...
My car was banged pretty bad from the right side yesterday while it was parked outside my accomodation. I already registered a report about the accident in the Traffic Police Department, today... but from their tone I don't feel very optimistic that I would be getting any good news. I have a third part insurance so if the someone doesn't claim the accident I will have to manage the expenses on my own... Is there a way I can find out who the culprit is?? How can I get the car repaired on the behalf of an insurance company?? Thanks...
Sadly there is nothing much you can do. You take paper from Muroor and start repairng your car.
Dont take Full insurance as it insures only your first accident and you need to pay for parts and original accessories if duplicates not available.
It makes me wonder how MM's colleague at work manage to spend eight long hours with him!

Plus the damage shown in the pic can be repaired at home if you ve a tools kit ............ just remove the cover panels from inside & put controlled pressure with a round base soft item ............ it will be okay in 25 minutes ........ ........ nobody will ever damage a car purposely ............. small mistakes do happen ..........
If you have a 3rd party insurance and the culprit is not found, then I doubt the insurance company will bear the cost of repairs. Just wait for a while and hope the police succeeds in finding out the car that hit your vehicle. If they are unsuccessful, then I guess you will have to bear the cost of repairs.

Zack, That's if you know that there was a damage, but in the cases you did not notice any thing abnormal how would you expect from the innocent gentleman / respected lady to report it . ...... ? ........
Unfortunately there is nothing you can do, this is why...here in Qatar...it is best to always get full insurance...although you might be a good driver...there is always some idiot on the road that may hit your car while parking. This is all too common occurrence here. After hitting your car, they just run away.
What model is the car ? We need to understand why the person did this deed

Sadly there is nothing much you can do. Unless you or the police can find a witness or use cctv to identify the concerned vehicle.
It is possible that the other person may seek a police report to repair their vehicle and get caught but the odds are low.
