Getting married in Qatar

I will be working here in Qatar in July. Is it possible to get marry here? My partner is Muslim and so am I but he doesnt live here. He works in Dubai and originally from Egypt. Can he come and visit me for a few weeks to arrange our marriage? I heard that both should be a resident to get married in Qatar? What if only one of us is the resident? Will that be a problem?
