Ford explorer2013 oil change

Dear friends

I need advice on engine oil change for Ford explorer 2013 4wd.

Lasttime, i went to waqod and they put the gold oil with 5000 km change specs.. 10w40 I think.

Today, I checked the user manual and found that the recommended is 5w20..so, I need a advice on how to go this time..

Is it make big difference 5w20 to 10w40?

For nexttime, please suggest where shall I go for oil change and what is the best for cars in this hot weather.

If someone own a Ford explorer, please share your inputs, i will be thankful to you.

You have read correctly that the user's manual says "recommended" and not an absolute must. Car engine oils are blended to work efficiently in all types of car engines and not in any particular brand of car engine. I guess you are of the hypersensitive type of person and possibly this may be the first time you have a car of the Ford Explorer type. What the Woqood people poured into your car engine was perfectly okay.
