My Partner and I eat the same food for 3 days prior to the flight. the only difference was the fish dished served by them on the second leg from Abu Dhabi to Sydney.
I woke 5 hours after eating it with stomach cramps and nausea.
that makes it pretty easy to ascertain its origin.
Also its not unusual for individual meals to carry more pathogens and bacteria than the next.
Ummmm....My parents and my in-laws both live in Qatar still and fly Etihad regularly (as it's the cheapest flight to get to Abu Dhabi to visit us), and I used to fly Etihad when I lived in Qatar. I would definitely say food poisoning on Etihad airways, or ANY airway, given the number of people who fly regularly in this region, is relevant to Qatar.
If forums in the UAE allow issues with Qatar Airways to be discussed, why can't a Qatar forum allow issues with Etihad to be discussed.
adey is right here. When anything and everything going on different parts of the world is discussed here, this specific topic has more relevance than most.
Removed by Mods. Etihad is not a Qatari airline. Correct - but people who live and work in Qatar often fly on Eitihad, thus it is very relevant to a Qatarliving Lounge thread.Did the OP state that Eitihad was a Qatari airline? I don't know as I didn't see the OP before it was moderated, and we will never know now as the whole gist of the OP has been obliterated by over zealous moderation. No wonder the number of posts and posters are inexorably on the decline when the site treats its contributors like children.

The mod seems like a noob, and a pretty big capital "O" shaped a**hole
Maybe they were afraid of a lawsuit from Etihad and made up a rather flimsy excuse to delete it.
maybe there is a new mod in town with no idea of living in Qatar.
Community Guidelines Rule # 1 to 19, the OP didn't break any of them. Plus its absolute relevance to people especially expats, living in Qatar.
Perhaps on the basis of the footnote?
"new: The moderators of this site reserve all right to moderate this website as required in order to enforce the above guidelines."
In order to enforce the guidelines which were never broken?
Captain_Lost, were you on duty on the said flight?
L. Morgan, this is why I don't eat airplane food. Ick.
STUPID THREAD !!!

POOR
Indeed and topics like religion that are supposed to be banned on the main forums go on, and on, and on. And they don't get deleted.
