Exchange Driving license

I have UAE driving license and i am coming to Qatar on business visa for 3 months .I would like to get a temporary driving license to drive in Qatar .Whats the procedure to exchange temporarily my uae license to Qatar license.Can i get this from UAE or i need to get this from Qatar.Whom i should contact.

It;s okay to drive in Qatar with UAE licence. Thomas recheck with a specialist .

Hi i checked with the license dept.It was informed that i need to make an international lic to drive in Qatar.

You may get an Inter. Lic from UAE by showing your Emirati Lic but why to spend unnecessarily when Emirati Lic it's accepted .......... for driving in Europe one may take Inter Lic .....

I am having UAE residence visa,Does this mean that i don't need to exchange/convert my driving licence in Qatar.

UAE driving license will do the job if you hold UAE residence permit otherwise international lic.
