Employment of Women - Maternity

According to the Qatar Labor Law, Part Nine of Employment for Women - Article 96 :
A female worker who has been employed by an employer for a complete year shall be entitled to maternity leave with full pay for a period of fifty days. Such maternity leave shall include the period before and after the delivery provided that the period following the delivery shall not be less than thirty five days.
However, on such case that the Employer terminates the women employment prior to her delivery date. Should she be still entitled of the maternity compensation that should be accounted on the end of service or gratuity.
Note : Reason on termination is that company is subject for closure.
As per the company contract..
The company is only aobliged to provide this for active employees ...
I highly doubt it. No company would pay an employee just because she was due to deliver in the future. As the company is closing, you should be paid gratuity but not for maternity.
