You can go until the hearing & sentence. Not after the verdict.

Motiv8er: I had written earlier my good friend MM is a "philosopher." People usually don't get to understand philosophers during their lifetimes and they are eventually forced to commit suicide. Take Socrates for example.

If does not get deported he may repeat the same act over and again and the next time he may not be so lucky. He may land up killing somebody. Bad habits die hard, and drinking is one of them.

If you drink & drive you are guilty under any circumstances. You will be jailed for 1 month & fine for QR 3000 - 5000 during the 1st hearing. Appeal against the sentence after 30 minutes from the verdict. engage a lawyer for the appeal. most like the jail sentence will be suspended for 1 or 2 years and you have to pay the fine. No deportation to my knowledge

MM: This is getting silly. The more likelyreason is that alcohol slows your reflexes - hence affecting your braking

Ajit, Normaly people are forced by the friends to have a drink , if that is your case tell the authorities that it was not with your intention that you took drinks rather forced by others. And first timer doesn't know the consequences so you are a clear innocent that's why you were driving home. You try your best to explain it for your own good. The way you've acted was stupid. But it is even more stupid to ask for help on QL. What do you think? There are policemen and judges here on QL?

Next time try Uber instead :)

Uber is the cheapest means of transport around until you get your own car. Since it has been only a year or so since Uber launched in Qatar they have a lot of promotions going around. It is a great source of saving money as compared to booking taxi services like Karwa.

Here is a starter pack of 80QAR credit if you're not on Uber yet. Just register with the link given below and enjoy your first free taxi ride.

https://get.uber.com/invite/uberget35now

More promo codes to come ! Stay tuned !

For second time use,

Promo Code: DOHASUMMERLOVE -- 20% off all rides till August 2015

Cheers !

It is viewed very seriously specially during ramadan period. No other way than to face the music. Fortunately you hit a car, if it was a human being ? cant imagine. Seek any lawyers guidance on how best to reduce the punishment.
