Does having a Qatar residence permit speed entry to other Gulf countries?
The question almost speaks for itself.
For experienced Western expats with Qatar Residence Permits --
Does your Qatari RP get you expedited visa service or stand in place of a visa for Oman or the UAE?
We're from the US and going to Oman later this week. I know that a tourist visa allows for entry both into Qatar and Oman. Is this also true for a Qatar Residence Permit? (I know we can get a visa upon arrival in Oman, but didn't know if we could use a line for GCC residents, if such a thing exists).
Any help with this would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Don't know about everywhere, but in some of the United Arab Emirates, they have a separate queue at immigration for Residents as opposed to Nationals or 'Others'. Plus you get preferential rates at hotels if you are resident in another Gulf country. Sometimes you have to ask as it is not always advertised.
I am Indian having residence visa in Qatar. I have taken Qatar-airways ticket to Abu Dhabi. Can I get visa on arrival at Abu Dhabi airport? My profession is computer programmer
GCC residents who carry valid resident visa of Qatar can get visa on arrival at any GCC country, airports and border, Except Saudi Arabia.
For going to Saudia is a different issue, but you can get visa for UAE, Oman, Qatar, Behrain and Kuwait if you hold resident permit of any of these countires.
Also for American passport holders can get visa on arrival to airports.
