Desert Safaris - Best Option advice please
Hi Friends,
Would like to seek your advise on the best option for a desert drive - Should it be booked through a travel agents who pick you up from home & to drive till the sealine resort in your car & avail the service from there??
I am quite new in Qatar & have a sedan. So driving till the desert shouldnt be problem but to take the desert drive, I was hoping to look for some services near the resort or the desert..not sure if such facilities are available there...
could you all please share your experience, so that I would be more comfortable to take my family there..I was just not hoping to mess up the trip without prior info :-o

My recommendation is to take an all inclusive tour that includes pick-up and drop off from/to Doha. There are some options available i.e. half day, full day or overnight package and the later two include include meals. You can contact some established operators like Regency Travels (http://www.regencyinbound.com/contactus.html) or Qatar International Adventures (http://www.qia-qatar.com/content/qatar-desert-safari). There might be others as well but I am only aware of these two.
