Cost of Living in Qatar

hello, i am young person 28 and i have been offered a monthly salary of 20,000 Qatar per month. My major concern is the cost of living in Qatar. I do not need anything fancy. Just a 1bd apartment or a studio, a gym membership, car rental and my own expenses. Is it worth the money to come to Qatar and be able to save? I would appreciate any help

Thanks

It really depends on your lifestyle. If you go out for drinks, its about 50-100QR/drink (mostly at hotels). Also look at quality/familiarity of life. I know someone renting a room for 2000/qr month, but is not culturally similar to his roommates and unhappy. By culture, I mean, different languages, foods, habits, thinking, etc. He's now looking for a more Western atmosphere which will be about $5500+ flatshare in City Center Mall/Diplomatic Area. There are no real studios unless you share a villa and there's a maid's quarter in the back yard. Groceries are cheap and subsidized. Alot of young Western expats stay in City Center Mall/Diplomatic Area (closer to hotels/bars). Good luck.

it depends upon your life style dear...

For accommodation you can find a good range for 1bhk ranges from 4000 to 5000(depends upon the location you can get more cheaper in Wakrah) and in most of the accommodation Gym is their so no need to pay for gym...

For car rental you can get good one in 2200 Qar/Month
