Change of Employer

Hi Everyone,

I recently changed employers but in the same industry.I submitted my resignation Notice on October 21st Making my last working Day as of 21st November.Since then I haven't received any confirmation message from ADLSA about change of Employer status approved.

My former employer deducted me Money yet I had served my Notice Period reason being that I haven't received the approval message yet and also charged me for my QID.An Amount equivalent to 2,800Qr in total.

My question is how long does the change of employer approval take?.Was the former employer within rights to deduct me any sums of money for the days remaining till I receive approval message? Please note that they calculated days from 22 Nov to 14 Dec and deducted me about 1,300Qr.How they came to such amounts and counting is still a mystery to me.

Please advise. Thank you
