My question is this; a friend got a position at a company after being told from his company his position was made redundant due to Qatarization and he signed an indefinite contract with this company. After running around endlessly sorting out paperwork for the new company that accepted his application for a job; CEID declined his job due to Qatarizatoin. This is after signing a contract and the position being advertised overseas.
He was given two months notice with no prior notificaton of redundancy. Expats dont have no leg to stand on here because we have no legal support. You give up everything in your home country to live here and get told your position is being made redundant and all dreams and hopes are smashed.
