Hello,

I have been in Qatar for 6 months looking constantly for a job. I did so many interviews but i never get a job. On my last interview, they asked me for references and i thought iam almost hired. however, i never got the job though i did very well. I really donot know what to do, I am getting frustrated, and i am losing my self confidence, bearing in mind i have MBA from washington DC and all my experience is from the USA. i see some friends that they got jobs in a twinkle of an eye, but it is taking me forever and iam so tired of looking because searching for a job is a full time job. I do have experience in Accounts payable, HR and project coordination, but still can not secure one. can someone tell me what is the problem?

I guarantee people are scared of your calibre so they do not want to take risk by taking you in .......

One tip is to appear humble in your next interview .......

Naf, There is no truth in those comments where it is said that only selected communities are prefered for a job.

Keep you hopes alive, Pray regularly, that moment is not far now when He will make a situation where your dreams to come

well, let's assume that nationality is not in question for the time being. The issue maybe with the career path that you might have developed for your self. Accounts Payable, HR & Project Coordination - these three are very, very different fields in the career path. And it's not the degree that lands you specifically in the job. Once you are into the job market...your degree no longer supports your creditability and performance.

Pirate lover is right. You need to be a Keralite or a Filipino to get a job here.
