Question about RP

We applied for family RP on 11/26/13 and as of now we still did not get it. We went and asked and keep saying under review.

Can someone please tell me what is the time frame for the RP to get ready as i have kids in school and they keep asking for it.

They told us it takes up to 3 days max and now it is 10 days. I am getting frustrated. Please your feedback is appreciated. thx.
