are these comments based on any examples? When you do a leagal transfer through metrash2 or done at the traffice office, will the authorities not block the transfer if it is a stolen vehicle?

Make sure the ID is an original one!

You are partially correct - You may still end up buying a stolen item..

However, you will cover yourself against possible prosecutions or criminal issues by ensuring that you have a receipt with the person's name and a copy of the QID.... This shows that you bought the item in good faith

that is exactly my point there is no way to know if this vehicle are stolen or not. is it valid just to write a form for him to sign.

Yeah, the police will take it away from you, ha, ha. And, whoops, you've lost all your money.

Sorry MM, but how do you judge whether a person is genuine ?

If you buy a stolen bike / vehicle and cannot prove its purchase to the authorities , then you are liable to prosecution...

If the price is attractive & the person is genuine then it will be alright for me.

How can it be normal ? You really need to think before you post..

If someone buys a car / bike etc without a receipt and something goes wrong, then how will they offer proof of purchase to the police / authorities..

ALWAYS get a signed / dated receipt
