BOUNCED CHEQUE

Dear ALL,

I heard that if your cheque bounced 3x there is a possibility that they will put in jail, is that correct? because last week, my last appartment bounce my cheque twice in 1 shot but it should be only 1 cheque and i dont know how they get the other cheque, the last cheque that i know is for the last payment and end of my contract but i dont know how they get the other cheque.

kindly let me know if you experience then bounced cheque and what will be the consiquence.

I think each bank has their own policy.

I bank with HSBC, there is a fine of Qr.300.00 for giving a cheque with insufficient funds.

I suppose under some circumstances, you can go to jail if someone makes a police / legal complaint.
