BAD DENTAL TREATMENT

Sheikha Aiysha Al-Khatani
By Sheikha Aiysha ...

I WENT TO AL MASA DENTAL COMPLEX, OPPOSITE VILLAGIO,CARREFOUR,AL-WAAB ST, TO GET MY SONS FILLINGS DONE AND THE DR.XXXXX I BEHAVED SO BADLY WITH ME AND MY SON THAT FIRST HE REFUSED TO TAKE ANY TREATMENT FROM HIM BUT LATER WHEN DR XXXXX TREATED HIM I SAY HE DID NOT CLEAN ANY TOOTH BEFORE FILLING AND TOOK 3600 QRS FROM ME FOR 2 TEETH.
UPON ASKING HE STARTED SHOUTING AT ME AND SAID HE WILL NOT GIVE THE MONEY BACK.

A DR WHO CAN NOT BEHAVE NICELY SHOUD NOT STAY HERE
ADVICE FOR ALL- DO NOT GO TO AL MASA DENTAL COMPLEX -- OR REPENT LATER

Took a while to delete the name, but finally done.

I would also like to add something to this topic without mentioning the name of the doctor. I went to the Family Dental Clinic opposite Villaggio. I had a filling done - it should have been a rootcanal. Then I was told to come back to do further 4 fillings. Suspicious as I am after reading all the stories on QL I went to the Al Maha Dental Clinic for second advise - after the pain started again on the same tooth which had the filling. It should have been immediately a root canal treatment in the first place. But those further fillings I needed were a load of bullsh*t. I had told that dentist I had had fillings there before and they had been covered with some white stuff, was she sure that the white stuff had not come off and that it was showing the colour of the fillings? Answer: Oh no no no, you need fillings! When I was seen in the Al Maha Dental Clinic I was told I didn't need any fillings at all. Just shows - how can you trust any dentist in this country? I have full confidence in the Al Maha Dental Care though - excellent experiences with good dentists. Would recommend them to anybody!

As if the real Sheikha would post on QL under her real name - or complain online about QAR 3,600... Food for thoughts: Wondering why this slanderous original post with names on it has not been deleted though... I thought it was against QL rules?

the truth about this issue is the following: a doctor was working there (Dr. Manish Gyol) with his wife, dr. Naleem. THeir service was terminated a month ago because of their misbehaviour with their colleagues and they returned to their country. Eversince then they have started writing against the clinic and the remaining staff. the first time, on April, 27, 2010, a post occurred in the Social section by Dr. Manish, speaking about the fraud at the clinic. Today is the second time that the same person, but under the different name (Sheikha Aisha) wrote the post of the same content in order to ruin the reputation of the clinic and its staff.you may believe it or not what i am saying, but has the clinic and the staff been below the level, certain measures would have been taken long time ago because there is the inspection that visits the clinics quite often. Therefore, please disregard the posts of this kind. I am sure this will not be the last one against it, but expect a different name again.

Khanan, I don't know who is right and who is wrong in this particular story, but I know for sure that medical treatment, and particulary the Dentistry is on amazingly low level in qatar. Doctors are either incompetent or overloaded so much that have no any intention to help the patient whatsoever.. Or they are just following common qatari rule: Halli-Walli..

Once some “dental Guru” interrupted the routing cleaning right in the middle, and requested me to leave his office for 15-20 minutes and wait in the corridor... because his friend knocked the door and told him that he doesn’t want to wait (!)- they thought I didn’t understand Arabic, but you know Khanan, with such training (listening someone on the phone 24/7) I already can catch the conversation .. . So I had to wait 15-20 minutes outside! And after that he completed the cleaning in..3 minutes.. Moreover, the doctor presented this break as NECESSARY break in routing cleaning.. like if I am 16 years old ( I WISH i would!!) and like if I have never done cleaning in my life?? Or what did he think while ‘selling’ to me this BS? Most likely he didn’t think anything..as you know… Halli-Walli!

in this case 50 to 70% of all doctors in qatar should be reported to NHA

By s_isale• 27 May 2010 10:31
s_isale

Contact NHA, and give a complaint to them

By DaRuDe• 27 May 2010 10:30

left in the first place when he refused to treat him.

then again when you saw he didnt do his job well you shouldnt have paid.

and when he shouted you should have slapped him right away you dont work for him.

and Coming up on a public forum with your full name not a good idea.

You have 2 options write a complaint to Labor dept and second to NHA.
