I think depends on your job and experience. Also your personal circumstances e.g. if you are jobless currently then go for it but if you are earning good money in your home country with a good job where you can progress well then you have to think twice before coming over. As mentioned by other posters that if you live in shared room with little expenses then you can still save some money. But a lot depends on your personal profile i.e. your current job, your current family requirements.
Do not forget one thing that its not easy to change jobs here because of NOC requirement so do not think that you will come here and find a better paying job in next 6 months etc.
