Largest Monoprix in the world to open at Doha Festival City
Monoprix in Qatar has just announced that plans are underway to open their largest outlet in the world at Doha Festival City. The new outlet, which will be Qatar's second Monoprix store plans to open its doors by the end of 2016.
The 7,000 square meter space at Doha festival City surpasses the size of all other Monoprix stores around the world. The new store design is set to follow an exclusive market concept that will be implemented for the first time in the world.
While details of the development are being released to the press in a planned manner, representatives of Monoprix have promised that the new store has an array of pleasant surprises for the retail sector.
Sebastien Farhat, Regional General Manager of Monoprix said, " We are delighted to announce this new outlet, which is widening our footprint in Qatar. We also want to tell prospective customers our new store will offer them an exceptional customer experience, which will be a world first."
"Our goal is to become the leader among the new generation of Hypermarkets. Ensuring that this second outlet in Doha surpasses the size of all other Monoprix Hypermarkets across the world, clearly shows the measure of success the brand is enjoying," added Farhat.
Monoprix's popularity in Qatar has been boosted by its ability to provide a wide and versatile range of high-quality consumer goods and exceptionally well-focused customer care.
The new outlet will offer a range of products that are new to the Qatari market. Additionally, it will carry a total of over 35,000 commodities including both food and non-food items, along with a full range of both organic and fresh food products. An exclusive variety of imported items from all around the world will further strengthen the Monoprix offering.
The new Monoprix outlet will provide a broader selection of both local and international organic food, and an exclusive selection of gluten-free and cholesterol-free food.
Giving local farmers a boost, Monorpix will also carry organic produce from Qatar. One of the many new concepts to be implemented is a "Cave a Fromage," which is set to be cave filled with a selection of the finest cheese from all around the world, complemented by an authentic French bakery.
