70 Filipino laborers

I only read it five minutes ago on Gulf Times online:
http://www.gulf-times.com/site/topics/article.asp?cu_no=2&item_no=258472...
But on the last paragraph of the article - just in passing - it was mentioned that 70 Filipino laborers were victims of a fire that broke out in Bin Omran.
Is there anybody in Bin Omran who can attest to this?
How can we get in touch with those kababayan who are unlucky to be victims of a fire with Christmas just around the corner?
If this is true then maybe we can put our collective effort to help them out or at least help them with some of their needs to cheer them up a bit this time of the year..... what do you think my dear members?

Update:
Sadly the report is TRUE. Out of the more or less 70 Filipino laborers, the most affected are 14 Filipinas. These ladies have lost all their belongings including their recently received salary and moneys and things they had planned to send home before Christmas.
I hope we can help them out or at least give them a bit of a cheer this Christmas.
Bring anything you want on our meeting venue tomorrow, Friday. (Those who don't know please PM any of your admins)
We thank you for your generous help and kind heart!
